GROUND ZERO is an art work made from translucent cellotape which has been realised by Franz Wassermann in several art spaces. Before the show was opened for the audience, the artist used double-sided cellotape to write the words GROUND ZERO onto the gallery floor. The visitors who at first overlooked the art piece walked over the lettering so that the dirt of their shoes stuck to the tape. Little by little Wassermann´s art piece became visible through the information which was transferred by the visitors; at the end of the opening the words GROUND ZERO could be read on the gallery floor.
