In CONTROL SYSTEM Franz Wassermann addresses the invisible laws which are used by executive, legislative and judiciary to rule our lives in public space. The artist glues photographs on the ground which guide the visitors to a number of art spaces in Innsbruck. The photographs show a faceless man in a pin-striped suit who sits behind a desk with his hands folded. On the desk there is a small plate which gives a number of different positions to the faceless man e.g. president, judge or minister. When following Wassermann´s guidance system into the art spaces, the visitors leave traces on the photographs behind.
